emotions. Following are the emotions, their definitions, and some advice
on how to deal with the emotion. (All definitions are from of the

Anxiety — painful or apprehensive uneasiness of mind
usually over an impending or anticipated ill
Guilt — a feeling of culpability for offenses
Confusion — to disturb in mind or purpose : throw off
Anger* — displeasure and hostility resulting
from injury, mistreatment or opposition
Isolation — to set apart from others
Grief — deep and poignant distress caused by or as if by
bereavement
Nightmares — a frightening dream that usually
awakens the sleeper; something (as an experience, situation, or object) having
the monstrous character of a nightmare or producing a feeling of anxiety or
terror
Denial — a psychological defense mechanism in which
confrontation with a personal problem or with reality is avoided by denying the
existence of the problem or reality
Shame — a painful emotion caused by consciousness of
guilt, shortcoming, or impropriety
Dysfunction — impaired or abnormal functioning
